Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction November 2024
The most beloved and venerated Montreal Canadiens player of all-time, we offer a Habs blazer originally owned by Maurice Richard, along with a trio of framed photos, with one signed by Richard, Beliveau and Lafleur, and one signed by Richard and Lach. The blazer is navy in colour with a label from Burtmar along with a tag with "M. Richard Nov 21, 1980" typed. There is an embroidered Habs logo to the left breast, with the blazer in excellent condition. The Richard/Beliveau/Lafleur signed Denis Brodeur photo is 8" x 10" and framed to 11" x 14", with all three players signing in gold ink. The Richard/Lach signed photo is 11" x 14", framed to 17" x 19", and it pictures the duo after Lach scored the cup-winning goal at 1:22 of overtime in the fifth game of the Stanley Cup finals in 1952-53. The final photo is from a newspaper supplement with Richard pictured along with Frank Selke while celebrating his 500th career goal in 1957. The paper is 11" x 15", framed to 15" x 19".
