Shows loads of stick marks and scrapes with good interior wear and comes from two seasons with the OHL Brampton Battalion before being called up to the Avalanche who took him #3 overall in the 2009 draft. Adam Deadmarsh’s game-worn Portland Winter Hawks jersey is a white CCM knit with captain's "C" on the left breast. Adam was in Portland from 1991-92 to 1994-95 as a junior before the jump to the Nordiques and then the Avalanche. Has the CHL and CCM logos on the tail, CCM and size 54 fly tags in the collar and shows great wear including stick marks and scuffs, board burns, small holes, areas of blood staining, and board paint transfer.
Duchene played major junior in the Ontario Hockey League in 2007–08, recording 30 goals and 50 points in his rookie campaign. The following season, 2008–09, he improved to 79 points in 57 games, then added 26 points in the post-season, helping the Battalion to the J. Ross Robertson Cup Finals, where they were defeated by eventual 2009 Memorial Cup champions, the Windsor Spitfires.

He began as a 16-year-old during the 1991-92 season and scored 30 goals and 60 points, adding 111 penalty minutes in 60 games. He followed that up with a point-per-game performance in the playoffs with 6 points in 6 games. The following year he improved to 69 points in 58 games during the regular season and 15 points in 16 games during the playoffs. He much improved second year in the WHL resulted in his being drafted in the first round by Quebec. His third season in the WHL would be his breakout season with 99 points and 212 penalty minutes in only 65 games and another great performance in the playoffs with 17 points in 10 games. Deadmarsh’s last season in the WHL would see him play 29 games, scoring 48 points, before making his debut with the Nordiques.
