Offered by Classic Auctions and the NHLPA to benefit the SickKids Foundation, this jersey was worn in the warm-up prior to the 2014 Stadium Series Rangers game by Norwegian forward Mats Zuccarello. Size tagging is attached to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring highly detailed “New York” letters spread diagonally across the chest, the pseudo tie-neck garment has also been accented with tri-colour drop-shadow tackle twill numbers. An alternate patch sits over the left shoulder, with the important 2014 Stadium Series crest over the right. With no discernible game-wear visible, the garment remains in absolutely stunning condition. An LOA from the NHLPA will accompany.
A MeiGray patch numbered K07297 sits on the inside hem near the intact fight strap with handwritten “W”, and according to the MeiGray population report the jersey is an "NHLPA Set - Worn During Warmup 1/26/14 and 1/29/14 At Yankee Stadium / White - Stadium Series 1/26/14 and 1/29/14 at Yankee Stadium " example.
The second installment of the extremely popular Stadium Series in 2014, the New York Rangers took on their neighbours from New Jersey in the first outdoor NHL game ever played in New York City. Despite home designation for the Devils, the Rangers were too much to handle, winning 7-2 which included 4 unanswered goals in the second period.
