Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
A product of Central Michigan University, linebacker Mark Dennis spent four seasons in the CFL with Hamilton, from 1990-93. We have a Tiger-Cats jersey worn by the Windsor native, along with uniform pants. A Russell label with “48” sizing sits over the lower front, with no tagging on the torn collar. Styled with screened-on Ticats logos over each sleeve, “49” appears in heat-pressed vinyl numerals over the front, reverse and shoulders, with “Dennis” across the nameplate (there is a small hole on the nameplate’s reverse). A piece of velco has been added along the reverse bottom, with the possibility of a former nameplate originally on the jersey. With heavy use visible including wear to front numbers and white paint transfer over the right sleeve, there are also a few faint stains present including over the lower front. The pants have a large Champion label within the interior stating a medium in size, with a handful of numbers handwritten and crossed out, with “89” intact. Heavily recycled, the pants show great use with a few minor tears, with a team repair over the middle left side.
