The youngest goal scorer in Montreal Canadiens’ franchise history, having plotted his inaugural marker at just over 18 years-of-age, Mario Tremblay would spend his entire 12-season career in a Habs sweater, with his most important goal winning the 1978 Stanley Cup. Originating from the personal collection of Canadiens’ legend and Hall of Fame superstar Bob Gainey, we have a helmet worn by the five-time Stanley Cup champion in the mid-1980s, circa 1984-85. A Jofa VM model in solid white with Habs decals over each side, the interior harness and chin strap are intact, with residue over the reverse from a removed decal. There is also residue visible over the front, with the head gear showing heavy wear throughout, with numerous marks, scratches and abrasions, with some dirt staining to the interior. A signed LOA from Bob Gainey will accompany.
