Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
A fantastic keepsake from the latter stages of Mario Lemieux’s incredibly successful hockey career is Super Mario Lemieux’s mid-2000s Pittsburgh Penguins game-used stick, which is a CCM Vector similar to the model of stick he used while leading Team Canada to gold at the 2004 World Cup of Hockey. “Lemieux” is factory stamped high on the shaft of this gamer, which retains Mario’s original tape job on the blade and his rubberized knob handle. Nice game wear here includes wear to the bottom edge and marks to the blade’s tape job, a gouge on the bottom edge low on the shaft, and various marks and nicks along the shaft.
