Super Mario Lemieux won the Hart Trophy for the third time in 1995-96, when he led the NHL with 161 points (69 goals, 92 assists) in 70 games. It was his fifth of six Art Ross Trophy titles. Lemieux, who added 27 points (11 goals, 16 assists) in 18 playoff games, also won the Lester B. Pearson Award and was named to the NHL First All-Star Team. Mario’s magnificent bold black marker autograph with his “03-05-96” annotation sits low on the shaft of his 1995-96 Penguins game-used Koho Revolution stick, which has his original tape jobs on the knob and blade and “Lemieux” stamped on the shaft. Lemieux had four assists in a 9-4 win over Winnipeg in Pittsburgh on March 5, 1996. Comes with a COA.
There is nice wear to the tape job on the bottom edge of the blade, which has a small chip on the top edge that shows through a small gouge in the tape. There appears to be a small chip to the wood on the top edge of the blade where it attaches to the shaft above the heel.
