The only individual in history to have his name on the Stanley Cup as both a player and owner, Mario Lemieux hoisted Lord Stanley’s hardware in back-to-back seasons during the early-1990s, in 1991 and 1992, with the superstar scoring 78-combined playoff points over the two seasons. This Penguins jersey has been signed by the superstar, with the desirable “Cups 91-92” notation added. A CCM Vintage model with size “52” labeling along with a tackle twill team crest and numbers, the 1991 Stanley Cup patch resides over the right breast, with the NHL 75th anniversary crest over the right shoulder. Mario has signed the second reverse “6” in black marker, with the notation added beneath, with both bleeding into the background material somewhat. The limited-edition number of “62/66” has been placed above near a Reich hologram, with a matching COA from the company to accompany. *** Please note this lot is a part of the 'Mario Lemieux Pittsburgh Penguins "1985 Rookie of the Year", "1991 & 1992 Stanley Cup" and "Last NHL Game" Signed Limited-Edition Jerseys (3) with Annotations' lot, with both separate bidding per lot and bidding on the entire group.
