Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017

Vancouver left the minor leagues behind with a bang when the old Canucks won the WHL championship in 1969-70. Marc Reaume’s 1969-70 WHL Canucks game-worn jersey with nine team repairs is from that championship season, Vancouver’s last in the league as the expansion Canucks joined the NHL for the 1970-71 season. The General Athletic Products laundry instruction tag remains sewn inside the left rear tail but there is no longer any tagging in the collar. “Canucks” on the front and number “2” on the front, back and both sleeves are heat-pressed white vinyl that has held up quite well, with the team name mostly free of some small cracking and a bit of vinyl loss to the numbers.
There are five team repairs on the left sleeve, one on the right sleeve, two on the front and one on the back.
