Just the third goaltender in NHL history to reach 500 wins after Patrick Roy and Martin Brodeur, Marc-Andre Fleury debuted for the Pittsburgh Penguins and spent over a dozen seasons in Pennsylvania as a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins, winning a trio of Stanley Cup championships. Selected by the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft, Fleury would lead the Golden Knights to a trip to Stanley Cup Finals in their first ever season before playing three (3) more seasons with the club and capturing the Vezina Trophy in 2021. A surefire Hockey Hall of Fame inductee once he retires, offered here is this photo-matched Vegas Golden Knights jersey worn by Fleury during the pre-season of the club's inaugural year of 2017-18. Made by Adidas, a band displaying both size "58G" and "Made in Canada" designations is affixed to the inner collar while the front and reverse necklines have been accented by NHL shield and Adidas crests respectively. Decorated over the front with a Golden Knights team crest that features embroidered and textured details throughout, matching alternate logo patches have been added over both shoulders as well. Having had Fleury's number "29" sewn to the sleeves and verso in dual layer textured gold-over-ventilated white tackle twill numerals, "Fleury" is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Exhibiting just light game-wear, a puck mark is observed in the textured gold stripe of the right sleeve under the numbers while another pair of puck marks is found through the "2" of the left sleeve. Having had a MeiGray tag numbered "P05917" sewn inside the reverse hem, according to the company's population report, the jersey is a "Grey Preseason Only" specimen. A matching MeiGray LOA will accompany the piece.
Regarding the photo-match, the jersey is matched with Getty Image #855350642 (September 28th, 2017 vs Colorado) to the puck mark in the "2" of the left sleeve.
