Retiring after an impressive 27 seasons, Igor Larionov ended his HOF career in style when a team of Russian NHL stars took on a collaboration of players labeled “Team World” at his farewell game, held at the Luzhniki Arena in Moscow, on Dec 13, 2004. This jersey was worn during the match by superstar Luc Robitaille, and it has been signed by Larionov and three other players. A Russian label with 54 sizing is affixed to the inside seam, with a sponsorship patch over the reverse neckline. Styled with “World” across the chest in individual tackle twill letters, the “Igor Larionov Farewell Game” crest is situated just above the left breast, with a second matching “Set 1” patch added to the inside hem. Showing nice game-use, there is some random dirt staining visible. The signatures have been placed over the front and reverse and display well, with a signed LOA from Luc Robitaille to accompany.
A portion of the sales from the Luc Robitaille personal collection will benefit the Echoes of Hope Foundation. Founded in 2007 by Stacia and Luc Robitaille, Echoes of Hope strives to awaken the spirit of hope in the lives of children, youth, and young adults in need by alleviating barriers and helping them reach their full potential.
