Taking part in eight of the NHL’s best-on-best showcases throughout his wonderful Hall of Fame career which included appearances at six consecutive All-Star Games from 1988 to 1993, Luc Robitaille brought home this Campbell Conference game jersey after the 1991 contest, held at Chicago Stadium, on Jan 19, 1991. A torn Maska Air-Knit label with handwritten “54” sizing is affixed to the collar (there is a “91” production sticker affixed to the reverse of the tag), with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with a gorgeous NHL shield team crest in the familiar orange and black, dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers have also been utilized, with the 42nd NHL All-Star Game crest residing over the right shoulder. Six small tackle twill stars have also been placed along the lower front and reverse bands, with “Robitaille” across the affixed nameplate in single black twill. A signed LOA from Luc Robitaille will accompany this desirable all-star jersey.
The jersey exhibits just a few faint marks beneath the team crest and remains in gorgeous condition.
A portion of the sales from the Luc Robitaille personal collection will benefit the Echoes of Hope Foundation. Founded in 2007 by Stacia and Luc Robitaille, Echoes of Hope strives to awaken the spirit of hope in the lives of children, youth, and young adults in need by alleviating barriers and helping them reach their full potential.
