The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004

Fantastic tough guy jersey was worn by the late John Kordic while he was still considered a rookie during the 1986-87 season. Kordic had played 5 games the previous season as well as 18 playoff games as the Canadiens won the Stanley Cup. Red knit CCM Habs road jersey has a Maska Ultrafil tag in the neck over an "86 07" production date tag. Nice game use here with a dozen black stick/slash marks on the front including a 14" long one. A slash or hook just beneath the Canadiens logo left 2 small unrepaired holes. The sleeves exhibit marks and burns which left 5 small holes at the left elbow area. Significant salt and rust in the fight strap to mention. Classic Canadiens gamer was worn by a man who died a tragic death at age 27. A LOA will be included. *startred* This jersey was actually worn by Kordic in 1986 while playing for the Sherbrooke Canadiens (Montreal Farm club) not the actual Montreal Canadiens like mentioned in our catalogue. *endred*
