The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
A joy to watch on a sheet of ice and whose accomplishments are almost without compare, defenceman Paul Coffey wore this Team Canada jersey in the 1990 World Championships. The winner of 3 Canada Cups, Coffey's only appearance at the annual spring tournament saw him wear the captain's "C". Paul contributed a goal and 6 assists in 10 games. His red and white mesh jersey is by Tackla with the company logo on the right breast. The Team Canada logos, the numbers, the white "C" on a piece of red mesh and "Coffey" on the nameplate are all sublimated while "Allianz" patches are sewn on each sleeve. The untagged shirt measures out to size 52 and shows nice game wear with the lower part of the front plastered with stick and puck marks and a few more on the left sleeve. Jersey remains in excellent condition and was worn by one of the greatest skaters the game has ever known and a recent Hall of Fame inductee. Comes with a LOA.
