Intriguing trio of letters is highlighted by 2 which were signed by Montreal Canadiens Managing Director Frank Selke Sr. in November, 1959. One was sent to the team's doctors and another to the Habs' publicity staff. In both, Selke is unhappy about having to read in the newspapers about injuries to his players that he knows nothing about! Selke relates his embarrassment when questioned by Senator Molson. His orders are clear in both letters, the bottoms of which feature his nice flowing ballpoint signature. Another letter to Canadiens publicity director Camil DesRoches in 1965 thanks him for his recent get well wishes and is signed in ballpoint by NHL President Clarence Campbell. Candid documents signed by Hall-of-Famers.
