Longtime broadcaster and author of dozens of hockey books, Brian McFarlane created the animated "Peter Puck" and together they were a hit, teaching young and old viewers about the rules and history of hockey during segments in between periods of Hockey Night in Canada telecasts and on NBC . McFarlane's personal collection from the 1970's and ‘80's includes 2 artist's cells depicting the popular character, a coloring book, English and French versions of the book "Peter Puck and the Stolen Stanley Cup", a 1974 Hanna-Barbera promotional sheet, a hockey card album and 2 pinback buttons. The entire collection is in near mint condition and was obtained directly from Brian McFarlane.
