The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
Defenceman Bruce Driver had 7 solid seasons with the New Jersey Devils under his belt when he was invited to Team Canada's training camp prior to the 1991 Canada Cup tournament. Although he didn't get into any actual tournament games it was still a proud moment for him. Driver's CCM white air-knit jersey has a Maska company tag in the neck beside a size 54 fly tag and "CCM" is embroidered into the rear hem. The Team Canada logo on the front and the maple leaves on the sleeves are screened-on while "38" on the back and "Driver" on the nameplate are in tackle twill and sewn-on. Jersey does show game use with numerous black stick/slash marks on the front and sleeves. Obtained from Team Canada executive Marvin Goldblatt, the sweater will be accompanied by his signed LOA.
