The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
Although the NHL had changed with the addition of six new teams in the fall of 1967, at least one thing remained the same; Bobby Hull continued to terrorize opposing netminders! Hull made it 18 goals in 18 games with his 21st career hat trick in a 7-1 road win over the Rangers on Wednesday, November 22nd. After taking a 2-0 first period lead, the Hawks blew the game open with four goals in the second, three of them by Hull. This is the puck he used to score his third on Eddie Giacomin at 18:26, the lone assist going to defenceman Tom Reid. The memento, a Converse Rangers game puck, was later gilt-coated and had an engraved metal plate applied to commemorate yet another memorable night. Bobby will sign a letter of authenticity that will be included.
