The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
The NHL's loss was the Winnipeg Jets gain when Bobby Hull jumped to the upstart WHA prior to the 1972-73 season. This is one of the bags that carried Hull's equipment during his 8 years in Winnipeg. The blue canvas bag has a sturdy leatherette lining and features Bobby's number "9" on one side and a Jets crest on the other that has a worn "Roster" below the logo. With working zippers, the CCM bag has been autographed nicely in blue sharpie by Bobby, who added "#9" and "1972-80". The Golden Jet will also sign a letter of authenticity that will accompany this terrific WHA relic.
