The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
One of just 6 players to reach the astounding number and the 3rd to do so, Marcel Dionne fired home his 700th regular season NHL goal in October of 1987. It was a Saturday game, on Halloween night actually, in which the amazing milestone was reached. The goal came versus the Islanders at the Nassau County Coliseum with James Patrick and Bruce Bell drawing assists on the goal scored on Kelly Hrudey. To commemorate the event the Rangers presented Dionne with this heavy brass plaque in the form of the team's logo. Measuring approximately 10" x 11", it has the details listed and features a Viceroy Islanders game puck. Some light surface scratching to mention here, along with Marcel's nice black marker autograph on the back. Dionne added "HOF 92" and will also sign a LOA that will be included with this terrific memento. *startred*Mounted on this plaque is the actual puck with wich Marcel Dionne scored his 700th NHL goal and it will come with a LOA from Dionne stating so. *endred*
