The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
The perennial leader of the Los Angeles Kings, Marcel Dionne took home these two lofty trophies following the 1977-78 season. The Alta Dena award at the left was for leading the team in scoring while the other similar trophy was won thanks to Dionne's playmaking abilities. Engraving at the bottom of it reads "Great Western Los Angeles Kings Most Assists 1977-78". The two spendid awards stand 31" tall and include winged women statuettes, figuaral hockey players and electric clocks. The Alta Dena Trophy is in tough-to-hope-for-nicer condition while the assists trophy has lost the "Marcel Dionne" metal plaque below the clock. Also, one of the hockey players' sticks has gone missing. From Marcel Dionne's collection to yours, they will come with his signed letter of authenticity.
