The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
Marcel Dionne got off to a great start in his first year in Los Angeles, being named to the 2nd All-Star team for the 1st half of the season and playing in his 2nd of 8 All-Star games. Dionne's unassisted 2nd period goal on Wayne Stephenson proved to be the winner as the Wales Conference, which led 7-1 after 2 periods, hung on to beat the Campbell Conference 7-5 at the Spectrum in Philadelphia. Dionne's impressive orange and black dureen jersey is tagged in the neck by Gerry Cosby and has a U.S. bicentennial patch on the left shoulder. The embroidered NHL crest on the front, Marcel's number 16 and "Dionne" in individual letters (no nameplate) on the back are all sewn-on. Classic all-star gamer measures out to size 46 and is in next-to-perfect condition with just a few tiny black marks on the rear hem. Also included is a pair of game socks and a 16" x 20" on-ice posed photo of him wearing the jersey. The photo has been autographed on the back. From Marcel Dionne's personal collection with his signed LOA.
