The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
A veteran of international hockey competition, Marcel Dionne played in his last World Championships in the spring of 1986. Moscow was the venue and team captain Dionne led Canada to a bronze medal, scoring 4 goals and 4 assists in 10 tournament games. This impressive red and white mesh jersey is by Addidas with the company tag in the neck and the Addidas logo on the right breast. The shirt measures out to size 50 and has the captain's "C" sewn on the front along with the Team Canada crest. The numbers on the back and sleeves are felt-like and heat-pressed while "Dionne" is sewn onto the nameplate. An "AGFA" patch is on each sleeve. Nice game use here with a few stick/slash marks on the front including a 7-inch job and some light board burns at the elbows. An official 10" x 13" team photo that Marcel Dionne autographed on the back, as well as his signed LOA will be included with this attractive jersey.
