The Marcel Dionne's Auction - October 2004
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/19/2004
Extremely rare, this Omega watch is the lone award that Team Canada players were originally presented with following their victory over the Soviet Union in the 1972 Summit Series. Only one thousand examples of this Omega Speedmaster model were manufactured in the early 1970's. The back of the watch includes an Omega Speedmaster logo with "Team Canada" inscribed above and "1972 Marcel Dionne" below. Worn with pride by Marcel Dionne, part of the "Team" and "Dionne" are no longer visible. Showing moderate wear overall, this special keepsake is one that is rarely offered for public auction. It will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by Marcel Dionne.
