Known as “The Roadrunner” for his blistering speed and quick hands, Yvan Cournoyer was a
key part of the Montreal Canadiens dynasty of the 1960s and 70s. Over his 16-season NHL
career, Cournoyer helped lead the Canadiens to 10 Stanley Cup championships, including as
team captain for their four consecutive titles from 1976 to 1979. His combination of agility and
goal-scoring prowess made him one of the most exciting and clutch performers of his era,
culminating in his Conn Smythe Trophy win in 1973.
Offered here is a beautiful 1965-66 Topps Yvan Cournoyer rookie card, graded PSA 8. The PSA
holder that the card is preserved in remains in good condition with just a few small light
scratches visible under close inspection.
