Featuring both Canadian and American card makers O-Pee-Chee and Topps respectively, we offer a pair of hockey sets from 1970-71, with a near complete Topps set (130/132), and a partial O-Pee-Chee set (132/264). The 1970-71 Topps near set averages about EX to NRMT, including #3 Orr, #11 P. Esposito, #67 Park rookie (OC 70/30), #57 Lemaire, #132 checklist (unmarked slightly OC), #15 Hull (OC 70/30) and #29 Howe (OC 70/30). Other notables include #55 Beliveau VG/EX to EX (black print mark), ##78 Parent EX/MT++ (very tiny dent bottom right border) and #131 Perreault rookie EX/MT to EX/MT+ (OC 70/30 slight corner fuzz). The only lower cards are #1 Cheevers (corner wear) and #7 Cashman rookie (lower overall grade). The cards missing to complete the set are #34 and #113. Next, the average condition to the partial O-Pee-Chee set is EX to NRMT, with the star players consistent with this range. In the EX/MT to NRMT range are #195 Clarke rookie (OC 60/40), #222 Plante (slightly OC), and #252 Orr Conn Smythe (OC bottom). In the EX to EX/MT range #246 Orr Hart (OC), #247 T. Esposito Calder (OC bottom) and #248 Orr Norris (OC, corner ding bottom left). This is followed by cards in the Ex to EX/MT+ range with #177 Lapointe rookie (tiny ding bottom corner), #218 Sittler rookie (OC 60/40 slight wear right border), #231 Sawchuk (slight wear right border), #236 Orr AS (slight wear top right border) and #249 Orr Art Ross (slight OC top, tiny ding bottom right). Lastly, #15 Hull is VG to VG/EX (dings to top corners).
