This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/29/2025
A trio of fine lumber offerings once wielded by men that combined to play a total of 1943 games in the National Hockey League, offered here is this trio of game-used sticks from the likes of Reijo Ruotsalainen, Barry Beck and John Vanbiesbrouck. All dating from the late-1980s/early-1990s and used during their respective tenures with the New York Rangers (Vanbiesbrouck), New Jersey Devils (Ruotsalainen) and Los Angeles Kings (Beck), each stick had the players name stamped over the upper shaft. All retaining most of or all of their original tape jobs over the handles/knobs and blades, with the JVB example broken at the heel and missing the entirety of the blade, the sticks are made by a pair of different manufactures including Sher-Wood (Ruotsalainen and Beck) as well as Vic (Vanbiesbrouck), with the Sher-Wood examples sporting factory codes stamped to their undersides near the heels. All showing game-use via things such as numerous marks and abrasions throughout the areas of the shafts, lower shafts, heels and blades, its is also worth noting that the sticks of Ruotsalainen and Beck both still retain their foil accent stickers around the bottoms of the shafts and are accompanied by LOA's from Milt Byron of Byron's HockeyLand.
