First signing with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1962 after time with the city’s St Michael’s Majors, Rod Seiling skated for five different clubs in parts of 17 NHL seasons, and represented Canada at the famous Summit Series in 1972. Hailing from his second go around with the Maple Leafs, offered here is this stick used by Seiling during the 1975-76 season in which he posted nineteen (19) points in seventy-seven (77) games played. A Sher-Wood P.M.P. model twig with "16 Seiling" stamped to the upper shaft, a faint date stamp appearing to read "20 OCT 1975" appears under the fiberglass above the heel on the underside of the stick. Retaining its original white-over-black ribbed tape job around the handle/knob and a couple rings of black around the middle of the blade plus foil accent striping stickers in two (2) places around the shaft, the stick shows moderate game-wear and use throughout via a number of marks and abrasions throughout the shaft, lower shaft, heel and blade as well as a couple of small chips in the edge of the toe.
