Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/18/2025
A member of the famous Renfrew Creamery Kings, Larry Gilmour won a Stanley Cup championship with the Montreal Wanderers in 1908. Choosing not to join the Montreal Canadiens after the dissolution of the Creamery Kings in 1911, instead going into coaching, offered here is this copy of Gilmour's 1911-12 C55 Imperial Tobacco rookie card that has earned a grade of VG 3 after its assessment at PSA. Pictured with his right hand over the knob of his stick and retaining overall good colours despite a bit of a dirty surface over the front, the rest of the card shows expected edge and corner wear all the way around. Housed in an overall good condition PSA holder, scratches and scuffs are present over both sides that are worth mentioning for accuracy.
