Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/18/2025
Marking the second time Canadian company Parkhurst had released a set of hockey cards, the 1952-53 assembly would have been considered a set up at the time being larger than the cards released the year prior and with full sized images of players with information gracing the reverse while the checklist held consistent at 105 cards, highlighted by the RC of a young defenseman by the name of Tim Horton. Presented here, we offer this collection of nineteen (19) cards from the 1952-53 Parkhurst release that have all been graded by PSA to the tune of NM 7 designations. Including a group of notables such as #12 Gerry McNeil (PSA NM 7), #34 Leo Boivin RC (PSA NM 7), #42 Howie Meeker (PSA NM 7), #67 Red Kelly (PSA NM 7) and #95 Max Bentley (PSA NM 7), the rest of the collection includes the cards of players such as #16 Pete Babando (PSA NM 7), #30 Cal Gardner (PSA NM 7), #48 Tod Sloan (PSA NM 7), #49 Leo Reise (PSA NM 7), #50 Bob Solinger (PSA NM 7), #54 (Gord Hannigan RC (PSA NM 7), #64 Bob Goldham (PSA NM 7), #81 Leo Labine RC (PSA NM 7), #82 Fleming MacKell (PSA NM 7), #84 Bob Armstrong RC (PSA NM 7), #90 Vic Stasiuk (PSA NM 7), #98 Hy Buller (PSA NM 7), #99 Bones Raleigh (PSA NM 7) and #103 Jim Conacher (PSA NM 7).
