Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction February 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/18/2025
A gold medal winner with Sweden at the IIHF World Championships, netminder Jhonas Enroth was drafted by Buffalo and spent time with four different NHL clubs, and is currently backstopping Örebro HK in the Swedish Hockey League. From his time in the AHL with the then Buffalo Sabres-affiliate Portland Pirates, we have a Third jersey worn by the Stockholm native in 2009-10. A Reebok label and size 58 "Goalie Style" tag is affixed to the collar, with AHL and Reebok patches placed over the reverse hem. Styled with a multi-coloured tackle twill team crest with embroidered detailing, "1" is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered twill, with Sabres patches over the shoulders and a McDonald's restaurant advertising crest to the right breast. Light use is shown, with just a few puck marks to the front and sleeves. There is also a small tear on the upper right side of the team crest.
