This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/18/2025
Released during a period of time in the National Hockey League that saw the Boston Bruins, Montreal Canadiens and Philadelphia Flyers hoist Lord Stanley's coveted cup at the end of the season, offered here is this collection of thirteen (13) graded O-Pee-Chee graded hockey cards that date between 1969-70 and 1973-74. Paced by a pair of 1969-70 O-Pee-Chee rookie examples of HOFer Tony Esposito that have been graded to the tune of VGE 4 and ENM 6 marks respectively after their assessment by KSA, also included from the 1969-70 O-Pee-Chee release are the rookie cards of Jim Dorey (PSA NM-MT 8), Bryan Hextall (PSA MINT 9) and Rick Ley (PSA NM-MT 8). Also including 1970-71 cards of Bob Pulford (PSA NM-MT 8), Tom Webster (RC - PSA MINT 9), Jude Drouin (RC - PSA NM-MT 8) and Dale Talon (RC - PSA NM-MT 8), the rest of the lot concludes with a 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee card of Phil Esposito (KSA EX 5) and 1973-74 O-Pee-Chee cards of 100-Canadiens Team (KSA NM 7), 145-F. Mahovlich All-Star (KSA NMM+ 8.5) and 157-Cournoyer (KSA NMM+ 8.5). All housed in either PSA or KSA holders that show scratches and scuffs, don't miss out on these for your all-important collection.
It must be noted that the grading standards followed by KSA may not correspond to those currently employed by PSA, BGS or SGC. The outcome of an attempted cross-over of this piece through any of those services, then, would be uncertain and cannot be guaranteed.
