Playing his junior hockey in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League between 1970 and 1974 with the Quebec Remparts, helping the club win back-to-back President's Cup championships in 1973 and 1974, Charles Constantin would be drafted the Buffalo Sabres at 136th overall at the NHL's 1974 Amateur Draft and 24th overall by the Quebec Nordiques at the 1974 WHA Amateur Draft. Opting to go the route of the World Hockey Association and playing 192 games with the Nordiques and Indianapolis Racers over the course of four (4) seasons, winning an AVCO Cup with Quebec in 1977, offered here is this Nordiques jersey worn by Constantin during the 1977-78 season. A mesh construction offering void of any labeling on the interior that measures out to between a size "48" and "50" for its effort, the interior of the garment is void of any kind of fight strap. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a screened on Nordiques team crest, single layer blue coloured Fleur de lys' appear over the shoulders plus the front and reverse hems in matching style. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Constantin's number "14" in screened on single layer blue numerals, "Constantin" is spelt out in matching style letters, albeit of a darker colour blue, across the affixed matching nameplate that is in place at the top of the reverse. Displaying with good evidence of game-use throughout, pilling is found at the end of both cuffs, stick marks exist over the front, reverse and both sleeves, board burns are present over the area of both elbows and red post transfers are found over the right elbow. Also sporting some staining over the lower front and reverse as well as the left side of the collar, another red coloured board paint transfer exists over the left side on the front and there is some minor wear from washing/use/age to the screened on elements. Finally, there is pilling seen at both elbows on the interior.
