A product of the Ontario Hockey League's Belleville Bulls who was drafted 66th overall by the Detroit Red Wings at the 1982 NHL Entry Draft, Craig Coxe would go on to play a total of 235 games in the National Hockey League, suiting up with the likes of Vancouver, Calgary, St. Louis and San Jose over that time. With his fights against Bob Probert considered to be all-time classic slugfests, offered here is this CHL (Central Hockey League) Tulsa Oilers jersey worn by Coxe during the 1993-94 season, his first of four (4) with the club. A mesh construction offering made by Duralux Sportswear, a partially washed out label affixed to the inner collar displays both the brand name and a size "54" designation while a Duralux tag is sewn on over the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with an Oilers team crest that features embroidered details and has been signed by Coxe with a black marker ink signature and inscription, the distinguished alternate captain's "A" is in place over the left breast. Also sporting the 1993 William Levins Memorial Cup champions patch over the right breast, the sleeves and verso of the jersey have been styled with Coxe's number "11" in dual layer orange-over-white tackle twill numerals while "Coxe" has been spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Displaying good game-wear throughout, stick marks are found over the front, reverse and both sleeves while unreapired holes and board burns are present over both sleeves and the right shoulder. Exhibiting team repairs over the back of the collar and upper front, additional board burns are found around both the front and reverse hems also. Retaining its fight strap on the interior, the inside of the jersey also shows good pilling in both sleeves.
