One of the big 5 that have won a trio of Stanley Cup championships with New Jersey along with Martin Brodeur, Scott Niedermayer, Scott Stevens and Ken Daneyko, Sergei Brylin spent parts of 12 seasons with the Devils, and is currently an assistant coach with the team. This photo-matched Devils jersey was worn by the Russian winger in 2003-04. Made by Koho, a single size “54” flag tag is affixed to the inner collar while the logos of Koho and the NHL are embroidered over the back of the neck and rear hem respectively. The front of the jersey is decorated with the Devils crest in layered tackle twill while the sleeves and verso have been accented with "18” in dual-layer tackle twill, with “Brylin” spelt across the affixed nameplate in matching material. Heavy use is exhibited on the garment, with puck and stick marks to the front and sleeves, and numerous board burns, scrapes and marks to the sleeves including unrepaired holes over the right elbow and upper sleeve. Team repairs are also present, with 3 repairs over the lower front, 1 repair to the left shoulder, and a cluster of repairs over the left elbow. Getty Image #2013890798 (Jan 10, 2004) has been matched to the marks on the team crest and over the "18" on the left sleeve. There is a MeiGray tag to the inner hem numbered "B05420", and according to the population report, the jersey is a "Red 1st Regular Season" specimen. An LOA will accompany.
