The Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins came up with another winner of an alternate jersey for their players to wear for the Skills Competition held during the 2007-08 AHL season. Alex Goligoski’s Skills Competition jersey is the one he wore for the event held by the AHL Penguins on December 6, 2007. With its sky blue body and narrow white and dark blue accent stripes, it evokes the look of the NHL Penguins’ inaugural season in Pittsburgh, as do the sewn on stylized white and dark blue double twill drop-shadow numbers sewn on the back and both sleeves. Surname letters are white twill sewn on a nameplate. Beautifully detailed Wilkes-Barre Scranton skating penguins team crest is sewn on the front. A Chrysler sponsor’s patch is sewn on the right breast and size 54 flag tag hangs in the back of the tie-neck collar below the Reebok AHL tagging. Reebok and AHL patches are sewn on the right rear tail of this near-pristine single-use jersey that exhibits no obvious wear. Comes with a laminated team LOA.
