Drafted 10th overall by the San Jose Sharks at the 1992 NHL Entry Draft after playing professionally in Russia with the famed Dynamo Moscow, Andrei Nazarov would go on to play a total of 571 games in the National Hockey League over the course of his career, suiting up for a total of seven (7) NHL teams over that time while also representing Russia internationally on a couple of occasions. Nicknamed "The Russian Bear", offered here is this Sharks jersey worn by Nazarov during the 1995-96 season. Made by CCM, both Maska Air-Knit and size "54" labels are affixed to the inner collar while the logos of CCM and the NHL have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a Sharks team crest that features embroidered details throughout, matching alternate logo patches have been added atop of both shoulders. Retaining its fight strap on the interior, the sleeves and verso have been styled with Nazarov's number "23" in dual layer teal-over-black numerals while "Nazarov" is spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Displaying good game-wear including popped seams and unrepaired tears around the collar, the sleeves show battle scars such as team repairs, stick marks, board burns and small unrepaired holes while the front and reverse display with stick marks, board burns and team repairs. Also showcasing pilling on the interior and some minor salting/damage to the fight strap, the jersey comes accompanied by a Sharks LOA.
