Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/24/2024
The highest-scoring left winger in NHL history upon his retirement, Luc Robitaille spent almost two decades in the world’s most competitive league, winning a Stanley Cup as a member of the Detroit Red Wings in 2002. The signed model of stick was used by Robitaille in the early-2000s while in Motor City. An Easton Synergy model, “20 Robitaille” factory graphics are present on the upper shaft, with the original black tape over the blade and white over the handle intact ("20" is handwritten). Good use is exhibited, with wear to the underside blade and marks and small chips to the lower shaft. Luc has signed across the front side of the taped blade in silver paint pen, leaving an attractive signature.
