A Stanley Cup champion in 2008 with the Pittsburgh Penguins and a bronze medalist with Team USA at the 2004 IIHF World Championships, Hal Gill retired from the NHL after the 2013-14 season, having played in 1108 games over the course of his 16-year career. One of the game’s largest players during his tenure at approx 6 ft 7 in, 250 lbs, offered her, is this Boston Bruins jersey worn by Gill during 1999-00 pre-season play. Made by Pro Player, labeling from the brand along with faded “58” sizing is affixed to the inner collar while the logos of both Pro Player and the NHL have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Featuring the classic spoked-B team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the jersey is void of the “NHL2000” patch over the right breast that appeared starting with regular season play. Also void of a set stamp inside the reverse hem, the sleeves and verso have been styled with Gill's number "25" in layered tackle twill numerals while "Gill" is spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Retaining its fight strap on the interior with matching alternate logo crests atop of both shoulders, the jersey, worn only in pre-season play, shows light game-use via a few stick marks throughout the body and sleeves with board burns over both sleeves as well. Also showing a few light spot stains throughout, the jersey comes accompanied by a Bruins COA.
