the eleventh (11th) year for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League, the club dubbed to be "America's Team" would post a record of 10-4 in 1970 to pace the NFC East Division for the fifth (5th) consecutive season and outscored their opponents 299–221. Cruising through the NFL playoffs, knocking off the Detroit Lions in the Divisional Round and then the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game, the Cowboys would meet up against the Baltimore Colts in their first Super Bowl but would fall to them by a final score of 16-13. Offered here, we present this football signed by thirty-three (33) members of the 1970 Dallas Cowboys. A simple brown coloured ball made by Wilson with a brand logo embossed into one panel, another one reads "Cowboys National Football League" in black letters. Sporting thirty-four (34) signatures over the ball that have been signed in black ballpoint pen, those that have signed the ball include Pro Football Hall of Famers Roger Staubach, Bob Lilly, Bob Hayes, Chuck Howley, Mike Ditka, Mel Renfro, Rayfield Wright and Cliff Harris while others that have signed the ball include the likes of Charlie Waters, Craig Morton, Bob Toomay, Ron East, Richmond Flowers, Mark Washington, Reggie Rucker, Ralph Neely, Jethro Pugh, George Andrie and D.D. Lewis (x2) among others. With all the autographs remaining in overall good condition and still legible despite some natural fading from age, the ball is also in good condition, void of most of its air and only sporting a couple of scratches/scuffs throughout the surface.
