Affectionately nicknamed "The Madhouse on Madison" due to the excessive spectator volume, the Chicago Stadium opened it's doors in 1929, and served as the home of the Chicago Black Hawks for the entirety of it's existence. The 1994 Western Conference Quarterfinals featured the Black Hawks battling the Toronto Maple Leafs, with Game 6 of the series played on April 28th the final game ever played at Chicago Stadium. This lot has the original line-up sheets for the match, with the Black Hawks sheet signed by coach Darryl Sutter, and the Leafs line-up sheet signed by coach Pat Burns. Each matching 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" sheet has the date and players names handwritten, with both coaches signing their respective sheet at the bottom. A historic Original Six building, the Madhouse will always be recognized as one of hockey's greatest venues.
