Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction September 2024

Arguably the two most important players to their respective teams at the iconic Summit Series in 1972, Paul Henderson scored the game-winning goals in the 6th, 7th and series-clinching 8th games for Team Canada. Vladislav Tretiak - only 20 years old at the time - consistently frustrated the Canadians, playing wonderfully in all eight games of the series which included holding the red and white to a single goal in game two. Picturing the iconic moment when Henderson plotted the series-winner in Game 8, we have a framed photo on canvas signed by the legendary pair, along with a matching 16" x 20" photo also signed by the duo as well as Yvan Cournoyer. The canvas is approx 24" x 30 and framed to 28 3/4" x 34 3/4", with each player signing in light blue marker near each respective image, with the signatures flawless. The 16" x 20" photo is signed by all three in blue sharpie, with no issues for the beautiful autographs. Holograms have been affixed to each, with a COA accompanying for the Henderson signature on the canvas.
While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for any damage to frames that occurs during shipping.
