One of the most famous photographers to ever pick up a camera and who's lens captured some of the most important faces, places and events in the world of sports, entertainment and politics, George Kalinsky served as the official photographer of Madison Square Garden and Radio City and has been honoured for his work by institutions such as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, the Museum of Modern Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The International Center of Photography, The Olympus Plaza Gallery and of course Madison Square Garden. With the likes of figures such as Frank Sinatra, Muhammad Ali, Luciano Pavarotti, Pope John Paul II, Billie Jean King, Bill Russel, Peggy Fleming, Mariano Rivera and Patrick Ewing stating that Kalinsky has taken their favorite photographs, offered here is this print of a photo taken by Kalinsky of New York Rangers' players Eddie Giacomin and Harry Howell taken in the mid-to-late-1960s that has been signed by the photographer himself. Capturing both figures defending against the attack of the Toronto Maple Leafs, the print, measuring out to dimensions of approx. 14" x 19 1/2", is displayed under a thick white coloured matte and housed completely in a simple brown coloured wooden frame that shows light wear to the corners and edges. Signed by Kalinsky in the bottom right hand corner of the piece with a black ink signature that displays flawlessly, full dimensions of the piece measure out to roughly 24 1/2" x 30 1/2".
