Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2024
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/26/2024
Formally established on December 10th, 1992, the Florida Panthers, the first professional ice hockey team in Miami since the folding of the Tropical Hockey League in 1939, would play their first National Hockey League season in 1993-94 and have become a Sunshine State sporting institution since their inception, making trips the Stanley Cup Finals in both 1996 and 2023. Offered here, we present this pair of coaches sized Florida Panthers equipment bags that date from the late-1990s or early-2000s. Both void of any brand labeling on either the interior or over the outside, though one of them does have a "Canadian Made" fly tag on the inside, each bag measures approximately 22" in length and around 9" wide. Both of a canvas material and sporting a navy blue body with red nylon handles over each side and a clear window pocket to put an ID tag into, Panthers logos have been screened on both both sides and the zippers on each bag remain fully functional. Both in excellent condition overall, each shows light signs of use on the exterior via a handful of small marks and scuffs while one (1) of the two (2) sports heavier wear via a bit of fading, scuffing and pilling on the bottom.
