A product of the Färjestad BK system in his native Sweden, Marcus Johansson would be drafted 24th overall by the Washington Capitals at the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and has gone on to a National Hockey League career that has seen in dress in over 900 games as of this writing, wearing the colours of Washington, New Jersey, Boston, Buffalo and Seattle. Having also played with the Swedish national team at both the junior and senior levels, winning Olympic silver in 2014, offered here is this Capitals jersey worn by Johansson during the 2016-17 season. Made by Reebok and sporting a lone size "58" label affixed to the inner collar, crests for both the NHL and Reebok adorn the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a large Capitals team crest that shows embroidered details throughout its entirety, matching alternate logo patches have been placed atop of both shoulders. Accented over the sleeves and verso in dual layer white outlined in navy tackle twill numerals, "Johansson" has been spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Exhibiting good game-wear, stick marks appear over the "0" on the reverse and both sleeves while board burns and small unrepaired holes are present over the right sleeve as well. Also showing a total of seven (7) team repairs in the area of the left elbow and pilling on the interior, a MeiGray label numbered "N05757" is sewn inside the reverse hem and is accompanied by a matching LOA. Regarding the photo-match, the jersey is matched with Getty Image #625366558 (November 23rd vs St. Louis) to some of the sewn team repairs over the left elbow.
