Inducted into to the Hockey Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2011, Doug Gilmour would enjoy an NHL career that spanned 20 seasons with 7 different franchises. A Stanley Cup champion as a member of the Calgary Flames in 1989, up for grabs here is this Montreal Canadiens jersey donned by Gilmour during the 4th annual Hockey Hall of Fame Game on November 2nd, 2002 against the Maple Leafs in Toronto in his final National Hockey League season of 2002-03. A Koho made offering that features a lone size "56" label affixed to the inner collar, a Koho logo patch has been added over the reverse neckline and the NHL shield logo is embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front with the famed "CH" logo of Les Canadiens in layered tackle twill with embroidered details throughout, the distinguished alternate captain's "A" worn by "Dougie" throughout the season has been added over the left breast while the Hall of Fame Game event patch has been added opposite it over the right breast. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Gilmour's familiar number "93" in dual layer blue-over-white tackle twill numerals, "Gilmour" is spelt out in single layer white tackle twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Displaying good game-wear for only being worn in a single contest, wear consists of three (3) board burns over the left elbow, a blue board paint transfer mark across the top of the "3" on the left sleeve, a stick mark over the tailbone, and a board burn to the left of the "9" on the reverse. Also showing a bit of light pilling on the interior, a MeiGray LOA will accompany the piece.
