This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/25/2024
Perpetually in the hearts of Canadians as the hero who saved the nation and secured our hockey supremacy, Paul Henderson will be forever remembered for his epic goal against the Soviets at the Canada-Russia series in 1972, with the tournament-winning marker widely recognized as the most important ever scored. Netting over 350 career goals throughout his time in both the NHL and WHA, we offer a ticket stub from the very first scored by the famous Summit Series hero, graded VG 3 by PSA. Occurring on Jan 29, 1964 vs Chicago, the goal was scored at 13:54 of the third to tie the match at 2-2, with this the final score. The Chicago Stadium stub lists the date, seat and "Game 26". The PSA holder has a few marks/scratches to note.
