A veteran of 699 National Hockey League games with the likes of Chicago, Edmonton, St. Louis, Ottawa, Calgary and Florida, Igor Kravchuk would also play a total of 242 games in the Soviet League, most notably with CSKA Moscow. The 71st overall pick of the 1991 NHL Entry Draft, Kravchuk would represent his native Soviet Union/Russia on numerous occasions, winning gold at the 1988 Olympic Games, gold at the 1992 Olympic Games with the CIS squads, silver at the 1998 Olympic Games with Russia and bronze at the 2002 Olympic Games, also with Russia. Also a gold medalist with the Soviet Union at the 1990 IIHF World Championship, offered here is this Soviet Union jersey worn by Kravchuk at the 1991 IIHF World Championships, he final major senior event in which a team representing the USSR would play, capturing a bronze medal. A lightweight mesh construction offering made by Tackla, a lone brand label displaying a size "XXL" designation is affixed to the inner collar while the sleeves feature a double layering of material from the elbows down. Sporting a Tackla logo sublimated into the material over the right breast, the front is decorated with "CCCP" in matching style while the sleeves and verso have had Kravchuk's number "3" sublimated into them as well. Having had matching "Allianz" sponsorship patches sewn on over both sleeves, "Kravchuk" is spelt out in sublimated single layer white letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse. Exhibiting good game-wear throughout its entirety, stick marks are observed over the front, reverse and both sleeves while the sleeves also show things such as board burns (both), unrepaired holes (left only), coloured board paint transfers (right only) and team repairs (right only). Regarding the video-match, the jersey is matched with the Soviet vs Sweden match on May 4th, 1991 to the stick mark under the "Z" of the Allianz patch on the left sleeve, the unrepaired hole above the left elbow and the stick mark in the white stripe of the lower reverse.
