Loaded with legendary Scandinavian talent including Borje Salming, Kent Nilsson, Thomas Steen and Pelle Lindberg, and led by superstar Anders Hedberg, the Swedish national team competed at the 1981 Canada Cup and defeated Finland, with Hedberg selected as the best player in three of his nation’s five games. A staple on the national team at numerous key international tournaments and a veteran of 172 National Hockey League games between 1981 and 1984, offered here is this Team Sweden jersey worn by Molin at the 1981 Canada Cup. A combination knit and mesh construction offering made by Tibas, a brand label and size "6" fly tag is affixed inside the left hip seam while the jersey measures out to roughly a size "50". Featuring a sewn on Tibas patch over the right breast, the front of the yellow and blue garment is decorated with heavily cracked "Tre Kroner" team crest in heat pressed vinyl while Molin's number "12" appears over the sleeves and verso in matching style heat pressed vinyl numerals that are holding up much better than the crest. Having had "Molin" spelt out in single layer yellow heat pressed vinyl letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse, the jersey, featuring a sewn in loop style fight strap on the interior, shows game-wear via staining over the front and both sleeves that are possibly blood stains, a small hole at the shoulder seam of the left sleeve and stick marks plus red red board paint transfer marks over both sleeve. Additionally, a couple of small stick marks are found on the reverse.
