Born in Ufa, Russia and enjoying a long career in the Soviet Union as a member of Ufa Salavat Yulayev and Dynamo Moscow before moving on to Germany, spending most of it with Freiburg EHC, Ravil Khaidarov has gone on to serve as a coach with numerous Russian and German born teams after his playing days. Skating with the National Team of the Soviet Union on a few occasions, winning gold and bronze medals at the IIHF World Junior Championships, offered here is this Soviet Union jersey worn by Khaidarov circa 1990 at either one (1) of or both the Nissan Cup and/or Izvestia Cup. Featuring double layer sleeves, the letters "CCCP" appear sublimated into the material over the front with Khaidarov's number "22" is present over the sleeves and verso in matching style. Having had "Khaidarov" spelt out in red letters that have been sublimated into the material of the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse, the jersey displays with good game-wear via red coloured board paint transfer marks over the front, reverse and both sleeves, stick marks over the lower front and right sleeve, light pilling on the interior and heavier pilling on the right side of the exterior.
